The health suite at Tadley Health and Fitness Center has re-opened following several months of refurbishment.
The suite now contains a brand new steam room, sauna and showers, and it has also undergone several accessibility improvements.
Other facility enhancements include new tiling, new furniture and a deep clean of the entire suite.

Councilor Kerry Morrow (Lib Dem, Tadley North, Kingsclere and Baughurst) said: “This is fantastic news for local residents and the wider network of customers who use Tadley Health and Fitness Centre.
“Loyal members know that the health suite has been in need of repair and I’m happy to report that the refurbishment not only looks great but also includes a brand new plant behind the scenes.

“The investment in this council-owned building will undoubtedly benefit our residents and their wellbeing.”
The health suite improvements – which began last October and cost £200,000 – were funded by Basingstoke and Deane Borough Council after campaigning from Mr Morrow and his fellow Lib Dem councillor Jo Slimin (Tadley and Pamber).

Plans to replace the spa pool have also been brought forward by the council to complement the new facilities in the health suite.
Work to deliver this additional investment is expected to take place before April.
